Our Story
Established in 1968, Aldons Heating & Air Conditioning has been a trusted leader in HVAC services throughout West Volusia, Florida. For over five decades, we've delivered dependable air conditioning and heating solutions built on quality workmanship and customer care. Our experienced team specializes in system repair, replacement, cleaning, and preventative maintenance to keep homes comfortable year-round. Proudly serving Deltona, DeBary, DeLand, and Orange City, Aldons is committed to reliable service, energy efficiency, and long-term comfort you can count on.
In 1992, Dan & Andonia Murray purchased the company and continued that tradition of excellence. Today, Dan and Andonia work alongside their son Michael, making Aldons a true family operation.

Dan's Military Service
Before building Aldons into the company it is today, Dan Murray proudly served his country in the United States Navy — a foundation of discipline, dedication, and service that still shapes how we do business.
Service History
USS Saugus (YTB-780) — Holy Loch, Scotland, 1976–1978
Served 2 years aboard the USS Saugus, a large harbor tugboat stationed at the Holy Loch submarine base in Scotland.
USS Shenandoah (AD-26) — 1978–1979
Served aboard the USS Shenandoah, a destroyer tender responsible for repairing and resupplying Navy destroyers at sea.
USS Capodanno (FF-1093) — 1979–1980
Served aboard the USS Capodanno, a Knox-class frigate named after Navy Chaplain Vincent Capodanno, a Medal of Honor recipient.
Pearl Harbor, Hawaii — Shore Duty, 1980–1982
Completed 2 years of shore duty at Pearl Harbor in the 38A Submarine Repair Shop, applying hands-on mechanical expertise that would later define his HVAC career.
From the Navy to Aldons
Murray's Window Air Conditioning — Honolulu, Hawaii, 1982–1990
After leaving the Navy in 1982, Dan began working for a local air conditioning company in Hawaii. Drawing on the mechanical skills he honed in the Submarine Repair Shop, he soon launched his own business — Murray's Window Air Conditioning — at 550-A Piikoi Street in Honolulu. He operated the company for nearly a decade before selling it in 1990.
Moving to Florida — 1990
In search of a more affordable cost of living, Dan and his wife Andonia relocated from Hawaii to Florida in 1990, bringing with them years of hands-on HVAC experience and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Joining & Purchasing Aldons — 1991–1992
Dan joined Aldons Heating & Air Conditioning in 1991 and purchased the company in 1992. Together, Dan and Andonia — and now their son Michael — have been proud to serve local families and businesses ever since, continuing the tradition of honest, reliable HVAC service that has defined Aldons for over 50 years.
